environment

The people can know about how to care of our environment if they to look up information in the internet, in webs of governmental organization and non governmental organization and also if they go to workshop about how to made composting for to use natural fertilizer in their gardens.

I would like to learn to used the bike, because is very useful for to travel short distances, for example, when to visit my friends, but when I have that to travel long distance I use the bus and the subway and I know that with this action I don’t contribute for to care of environment, but I don’t have other option.

In this summer I have that to achieve a little container with a lid for to put the organic garbage as skin the fruit and vegetable and I can to put dry material as dry leaf also I could put a worm for that to remove the composting and the oxygen to decompose the organic material.

Now I recycle two things in my house: cardboard, newspaper and sheets. I have the support my family. They help me when I need to order the material.  I hope that in my vacations I can to contact me with the people that to use the recycled material for to convert this material in other things, because in house don’t have much space and also the material could deteriorate.

I reduce my carbon footprint when I plant flowers or plants in the garden with my father.

"Vacations"

The vacations are important, because the people have free time and they can do many activities for to amuse oneself with the family or friends. Something persons enjoy their vacations, but other people to be bored.

I hope to have vacations, but is probable that I don’t have vacations, because I want to work during February for to get money and to pay the registration 2012.

If I don’t find a job, I will have that to change my plan. I have some things in mind as:

•          To prepare the garden for to install a compost,
•          To visit to my nephew for that we play in the park or to go to the children´s room the library Santiago                                          

•          To visit some family and some friends, because when I am studying I don’t have free time.
•          To straighten my bedroom, put in order my books and other things. 

I would go to Chiloé, because I want to know the architecture the churches and also the traditional craftwork. I would like to probe the gastronomy for to eat the curanto and other typical foods. Also I would like to know how the people to prepare the maja, a kind of the alcoholic drink made from fermented maize.

The summary

This article to talk about the results of a research about the teaching computing and also the opinions and the critics for the deficient results. There results are qualitative and quantitative. The institution that made this research was Royal Society´s study and they took 18 months in to complete the investigation in the European schools.

Movies

The people see movies for many reasons. Some people see films for entertainment other persons for to know other realities and to reflect on them. I see movies, because with the films I can know people that only exist in the plot of the movies. 

I believe that my favorites film are silent films and also the films that have open-ended or unhappy endings or with parallels stories.

To me the best director is Darren Aronofsky, he is an American director who has directed many kinds of films: science fiction, drama and fantasy. His most famous movies are: “Requiem of a dream”, “Pi faith in chaos” and “The fountain”.  This director I knew when I saw “Pi faith in chaos”. When I saw “The Fountain” I discovered that Clint Mansell was who composed all the music the films directed for Aronofsky.

The last movie that I saw was “All the invisible children”.  In this movie I could see seven different histories about child exploitation.  Many directors worked in this film, for example, Emir Kusturica. I recommend this film.

Is Perú

I would like to visit to Peru, because is a country very interesting for me. I mainly want to know the culture Inca. The Inca lived in Peru, a culture that left an important cultural legacy, for example, the ruins or pyramids of Machu Picchu. The Incas built and used the pyramids for very reasons: for religious reasons, for astronomical reasons and for subsistence proposes.

How long I will take in to arrive to top the pyramid? I don’t know, but when I am in Machu Picchu I think to photograph from top the pyramid. Also I would like to sleep here in the night to I look the sky, maybe I can see the constellation of stars that the Incas used to guide the period of sowing and reaping or the periods of drought or the inundations.

I hope can to go soon to Peru, maybe after that I finished my studies.

Uf! In this semester

I don’t like to talk or to write about the expectations in any area of my life, because I prefer to think in. In this case I will do an exception. In general I hope to find techniques that allow me to organize my time and concentrated study, because I only have a month the classes and I have to do very tests, reports and other assessments. Also the next year I will do my professional practice that is very important for me, because I will know if I am ready for to do classes.

Be studying in summer is very boring but also is new for me. I didn’t to return at the university, but I believe that it is a challenge for all.

My favorite places are two parks

I have to chose only one favorite place and it is very difficult because I have two favorite places: the Quinta Normal Park and Bustamante Park.  Both places are located in the town of Santiago. Quinta Normal Park is located near station the namesake park and the Bustamante Park is located on the subway the namesake park.

The Quinta Normal Park is near the: Museum Memory and Human Rights, San Juan de Dios Hospital, Portales Park, Santiago Library, Matucana 100 Culture Center, Artequin Museum and the neighborhood Yungay. The Bustamante Park is near the: “Telefónica” Building, a gym, Theater Universidad de Chile, Projazz Professional Institute and restaurants. 

I like both parks, because in this place I can do very activities, for example: I can walk slowly when I am a little stressed, I can sit on a bench and I read a book or I write curious things  that I see , I can rest on the grass and I see the tops of the trees from below. 

The difference between both parks is in the things that I can find when I am in these places. In the Quinta Normal Park there more variety of the tree than in the Bustamante Park. In the Quinta Normal Park also are a Natural History Museum closed for repairs, an abandoned greenhouse, a kindergarten and Museum the Childhood. In the Bustamante Park there a library, a pool with lights and exercises machines. 

I remember that the first time I went to Quinta Normal Park I had four years old and I believe that I ran a lot with my sister and my father paid for we go up a boat in the famous lagoon that now is in remodeling.  The first time I went to Bustamante Park I was studying in high school and I had seventeen years old and I walked and looked the architecture of the houses and buildings that are around the Bustamante Park, also this time I wanted to enter at the library, but it was closed.

Well, I must admit a lot good things about my blogging experience. First: Before the class level 3 I didn’t have a blog and I didn’t know how used it, and now I believe to know the basis aspect of this technological instrument. Second: the different topics were interesting for me, this helped me for I’m motivated and can to write in English. Third: I learn a lot the different vocabulary and too I could use words hat I had learned in level 2. Fourth: I consider that comment the classmate’s post I permit me practice writing, and reading comprehension.

But too my blogging experience have bad things: First: I often I don’t finished my post and this situation caused me frustration and it is very unpleasant. Second: And this is a personal opinion: the class were something individualizing, because the principal idea was finished blog and comment only writing, so we interacted more with the computer that with the classmate. Third: About the teacher’s corrections… I had liked have writing corrections, because I don’t remember all the thing that I’ll have exchange.

I don’t have winter holidays outside the house, I prefer being in a place where I can sleep, wake up and go to bed later, without nobody saying to me things. If I had more time on my vacations I would like to go to different places in the south of Chile such as: Chiloé and Dichato.
This two places are very interesting for me. I like Chiloé because it is a place very mysterious, its architecture and its houses are very simple, the wood is the basic material for their construction and the wood is very good for protect the cold. The landscape is attractive, because it is a island with hills not much altitude, too this island have a lot vegetation… Other good thing the Chiloé is the handicraft, because the “chilotes” uses wool, the wool is an excellent material for the winter, is very warm. The persons that lives here are very warm, it situation is great, specifically when someone For all previous I would go Chiloé.
For other hand, I could go Dichato, for different reasons: first, because although you don’t believe this place was very beautiful before the earthquake, its beach is calm… if you are under stress with the finish the semester you would go…

A simple photography...

I don’t know the name’s photography, I don’t know who took it and neither when it the photo was take. But I know that it is in contemporary dance website, because I found here. Since that I saw this I liked, but I’m not sure that it is my favorite photography.

This image isn’t sophisticated, because the photography is in black white and only has one figure. It shows a woman, I can to suppose that she is a contemporary dancer for how she dresses. She wears a black trousers and a shirt, she don’t have slippers. Her position is unusual, is very difficult… she is balancing all her body in only foot, she even have her extended left foot… her other leg is up. The most impressive is her body control, because she proves to have good elongation overcoat in her back and neck.

What does she try to express with this movement? What kind music is she listening? I don’t know exactly. But I imagine what she is expressing a strong emotion while she listen a music with a slow, wide and marked rhythm. Maybe she like to liberate a problem by dance. But if she is marching with exaggerated pace? What think you?

I like very much the photos in black white. It isn’t the exception. When I see this kind the photos I think that the contrast the color is interesting, it without consider the image.

Momo...

The last book I was read is “Momo: or the strange story about the thief the time and the girl that returned the time to humans. It was a 3 month ago in my summer vacations. This book was write for Michael Ende in 1973. He is a surrealistic painter German.
Momo is a novel that relate the story the Momo a girl that don’t have a age, family. She live in a amphitheatre with chairs, table, and other things that her neighboring had gave with a way the to reward the Momo’s company. This girl have a special talent, she know to listen the personal problems.
Other characters are Gigi and Bepo, Momo’s friends. Gigi is a tourist guide and Bepo is a street cleaner. Momo, Gigi and Bepo are persons that play with boys and girls, they used the time in to do activities that the adult consider ridiculous. In this book, the adults had sold them free time, because the grey man save this time in a bank. The adults don’t know that this time is use for to preserve the grey man’s live. How the persons don’t have free time, they are very aggressive.
In a part the story, Bepo, Gigi and children don’t have a free time… and only Momo have free time. She decide to look for the bank where are the free time and to release this...

If I’m right, the last movie I saw was “Don Juan de Marco”. It was thee week ago, before going to Dichato. I saw the film in the night with my sister while we ate some snacks. It was directed for Jeremy Leven who is a clinical psychologist. In the film mainly participate Marlon Brando, Jhonny Depp and Faye Dunaway. The film to be about the story the a young man, interpreted for Depp, who dressed and acts as “Don Juan Tenorio”, for this reason he is admitted in a psychiatric clinical. Here the young is attended for a prestigious psychiatric (Marlon Brando), he have 10 days for to diagnose the mental illness. During of the therapy, the character interpreted for Depp talks about his ways the to captivate women and the doctor begins to practice some of the adventures of his patient for to improve his marriage.

This film has many implicit messages, for example, it tackles a relationship between the doctor with his patient that is different from traditional, because the psychiatric forget the distance that he must to preserve with his patient. In this sense, I recommend to students of psychologist see the films… and who knows, maybe when they are psychologist they’ll avoid this situation.

If you like the music of Brian Adams, in the film appears one of his most famous songs: “Have you ever really love a woman? And personally I don’t like the lyrics, but I like instrumental accompaniment.

"TNE"

In our time, almost everything is technology, if we consider that anything created by humanity to satisfy their needs is technology. In this sense, I don’t know if is my favourite piece of technology, but is very practical for me. I speak of “Tarjeta Nacional Estudiantil” (I don’t know to say this in English). The “TNE” is a little and orange card that has student data as: name, university, educational level… These cards has a chip inside that contains information that is read by a “validator”. If you ask me: which reads the validator? I would say that the school fare.

I use the cards everyday of year except in Febrary (well, in those days I can to use the “TNE” how a ruler).

I have a bad habit of losing my “TNE” (I’ll be the only?) When this happens I use a temporary card. I have mixed feelings by to have this card, because on the one hand I pay unless that adult fare, but on the other hand, I frequently mislaid the card.

I honestly don’t like to pay a school fare in a bad transport system, but I must to admit that if I’ll pay a adult fare I’ll be in bankrupt, because in the day I use four times the bus and twice the subway.
